UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS
FOR THE SECOND CIRCUIT
THE FOOOTBALL ASSOCIATION PREMIER
LEAGUE LIMITED, et al v. YOUTUBE INC,
et al.
Case No.
10-3342
PLAINTIFFS-APPELLANTS’ RESPONSE TO MOTION FOR LEAVE TO
FILE BRIEF AS AMICUS CURIAE
Plaintiffs-Appellants The Football Association Premier League Ltd. et al.
submit this response to the motion of Public Knowledge for leave to file a brief as
amicus curiae.
On December 10, 2010, Audible Magic Corp. sought leave to file an amicus
curiae brief in support of neither party for the purpose of explaining the functions
and reliability of its filtering technology. This Court has not yet acted on Audible
Magic’s motion.1
The proposed brief by Public Knowledge is largely devoted to responding to
Audible Magic’s proposed brief and to discussing Audible Magic’s filtering
technology. See, e.g., Public Knowledge Br. at 3-5, 9, 19. For this reason,
Plaintiffs-Appellants believe that Public Knowledge should only be permitted to
file its brief if Audible Magic is granted similar permission.
DATED: April 18, 2011
Respectfully submitted,
