OPINION
Pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, plaintiff, a state
prisoner, filed this lawsuit complaining that, while
there was no correctional officer in his dorm due to
short staffing, another prisoner attacked him with a
broom stick, broke several of his bones, and attempted
to rape him.
