State of Arizona, No. CV 101 4 1 3 -P H X -S R B , for all purposes. These cases arise from the enactment of the "Support Our Law Enforcement and S a fe Neighborhoods Act," Arizona Senate Bill 1070, as amended by Arizona House Bill 2 1 6 2 ("SB 1070"), and assert virtually identical claims, namely, whether or not the Act is preempted by federal immigration law. B o th actions also seek the same relief, namely, preliminary and permanent in ju n c tio n s enjoining the enforcement of the Act. C o n s o lid a tio n of these two actions would avoid duplication of effort, reduce legal fe e s and costs, and simplify the adjudication of the underlying legal dispute. A c c o rd in g ly , for the foregoing reasons, Plaintiffs respectfully request that this m a tte r be consolidated with United States of America v. State of Arizona, No. CV 101 4 1 3 -P H X -S R B .
