(b ) (c ) C e ll phones must be turned off and put away when in the courtroom. W ire le s s internet components of electronic devices must be deactivated when in district courtrooms. (d ) B e f o re persons with electronic devices are granted entry into the courthouse, a ll devices must be examined by the United States Marshals Service or Court S e c u rity Personnel. This examination includes, but is not limited to placing th e devise through electronic screening machines and requiring the person p o s s e ssin g the device to turn the power to the device off and on. A violation of paragraph (a), (b), or (c) may result in seizure of the electronic devices, w ith d ra w a l of the privilege to bring an electronic device into the courthouse, or other s a n c tio n s . A violation of the prohibition on recording, photographing, or filming anyone or a n yth in g inside the courthouse may be punished as contempt of court.
