The Court is in receipt of defendants' ex parte application to extend the time for the submission of a rebuttal expert report to January 14, 2008, plaintiffs' opposition to the same, and defendants' reply thereto. In the papers, both sides reference the fact that they are in the process of submitting a stipulation to continue the pre-trial and trial dates in this case on account of the destruction of plaintiffs' counsel's home during the recent wildfires. Given that such a continuance would impact the scheduling for the submission of expert reports and/or expert depositions in this case, the Court hereby ORDERS the parties to electronically file their proposed stipulation continuing the pre-trial and trial dates by 4 p.m. December 12, 2007, and to fax a courtesy copy of the same to the Court (fax number: [phone]) by 4 p.m. December 12, 2007.
