Defendants. 1923090 Dockets.Justia.com 1 Plaintiffs (collectively "UMG") respectfully submit this brief response to 2 Veoh's Notice of Lodging of the summary judgment order entered in Io Group, Inc. 3 v. Veoh Networks, Inc., pending in the Northern District of California (Case No. C 4 06-3926 HRL. 5 UMG respectfully submits that Magistrate Judge Lloyd's decision in the Io 6 Group matter: (1) does not even address various critical issues presented in this 7 action, (2) to the extent it addresses issues that overlap with this case, the decision is 8 distinguishable, and (3) in any event, Magistrate Judge Lloyd's decision is incorrect 9 as a matter of law in many respects. 10 At this time, UMG does not propose to file a separate submission regarding 11 the Io Group decision.
