Plaintiffs UMG Recordings, Inc., Universal Music Corp., Songs of Universal,

2 Inc., Universal-PolyGram International Publishing, Inc., Rondor Music 3 International, Inc., Universal Music ­ MGB NA LLC, Universal Music ­ Z Tunes 4 LLC, and Universal Music ­ MBG Music Publishing, Ltd. ("UMG") and Defendant 5 Veoh Networks, Inc. ("Veoh") (collectively, the "Parties"), by and through their 6 respective counsel, stipulate and agree as follows: 7 WHEREAS, UMG seeks to file a Motion for Partial Summary Judgment re: 8 Veoh's Affirmative Defense Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act 9 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("UMG's Motion"); 10 WHEREAS, UMG and Veoh have agreed to a briefing schedule whereby 11 UMG will file its opening brief the week of September 2, 2008, without prejudice to 12 Veoh's contention that UMG's motion is premature and otherwise inappropriate; 13 WHEREAS, on August 27, 2008, Magistrate Judge Lloyd rendered an 14 opinion in the case Io Group, Inc. v. Veoh Networks, Inc., Case No. C 06-3926 HRL 15 (N.D. Cal.); and 16 WHEREAS, the Parties agree that a 5-page expansion of the page limits 17 provided in the Local Rules is appropriate to permit the parties to address the Io 18 Group opinion more fully in their respective briefs relating to UMG's Motion. 19 21 NOW THEREFORE, the parties, by and through their respective counsel 1. UMG's page limit for its memorandum of points and authorities in 20 hereby STIPULATE AND AGREE as follows: 22 support of its anticipated Motion for Partial Summary Judgment may be expanded to 23 30 pages; and 24 26 pages. 27 28
