The 21 Court having reviewed all papers submitted pertaining 22 to this Motion, NOW FINDS AND RULES AS FOLLOWS: 23 The Court hereby DENIES Plaintiff’s Motion to Seal 24 Case. Plaintiff has failed to state a compelling 25 reason for sealing the record. See Kamakana v. City 26 and County of Honolulu, 447 F.3d 1172, 1178 (9th Cir. 27 2006) (holding that a party seeking to seal a judicial 28 record bears the burden of overcoming a strong 1 1 presumption in favor of public access and must 2 articulate compelling reasons supported by specific 3 factual findings). In addition, the fact that this 4 Action has been publicly accessible since its inception 5 in 2008 supports a finding that sealing the record now 6 would be unnecessary and ineffective.
