MINUTES: (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER DIRECTING SERVICE OF PROCESS: These related cases are now pending before us. To date, no proof of service of the summons and thecomplaint on defendant has been filed by the plaintiff in either action. To ensure prompt disposition of these matters, and inasmuch as defendant appears to be readily available for service of process, we now ORDER the plaintiff in each action to serve the summons and complaint on defendant, forthwith, and to file proof of such service by no later than July 26, 2013, failing which plaintiff in each action shall show cause, in writing, by July 26, 2013 why service was not effected as ordered herein. Failure to timely file proper proofs of service or show cause as required herein will result in the dismissal of this/these action(s) for failure to diligently prosecute and for violation of our order. Once defendant has appeared in the actions, we will issue an order directing the parties to file a joint status report re: the desirability of consolidating these two actions IT IS SO ORDERED by Judge George H.
