JUDGMENT DISMISSING APPEAL
WITHOUT PREJUDICE

On August 4, 2014, the Court received a Notice of

21 Appeal from Bankruptcy Court in the matter of In re:
22 Sumaira Rahman.

(Doc. No. 1.)

Appellants Sumaira Rahman

23 and Syed Rahman, in pro per, appealed an order of the
24 United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of
25 California, dismissing with prejudice the first through
26 tenth causes of action of a complaint filed by Appellants
27 in an adversary proceeding against Appellees Capital One,
28

1 N.A. and Mortgage Electronic Registration System.

On August 12, 2013, the Clerk issued a notice of

4 document discrepancy, stating Appellants failed to pay
5 the filing fees required under 28 U.S.C. §§ 1930 (b) and
6 (c).

(Doc. No. 5.)

On August 20, 2014, the Court issued

7 an order to show cause, ordering Appellants to correct
8 the discrepancy by August 29, 2014.

(Doc. No. 7.)

The

9 Court noted that, "Failure to respond to this Order or to
10 correct the deficiency shall result in the dismissal of
11 the appeal."
