The instant action shall be dismissed without prejudice. 16 2. USCIS shall interview Plaintiffs on April 11, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., at the Los 17 Angeles Asylum Office in Tustin, California. USCIS intends to conduct the 18 interview on the date set, however, the parties understand that due to 19 unexpected staffing limitations or other unforeseen circumstances that may 20 arise, USCIS reserves its right to cancel and reschedule the interview. 21 Should rescheduling be necessary, the interview will be rescheduled within 22 four (4) weeks of the original interview date, absent unforeseen or 23 exceptional circumstances; 24 3. 25 26 Plaintiffs agree to attend the interview on the date listed above, absent unforeseen or exceptional circumstances; 4. If needed by plaintiffs or her dependent(s), Plaintiffs shall bring their own 27 interpreter to their asylum interview. Plaintiffs recognize that failure to 28 bring an interpreter to their interview may result in the interview being 1 1 rescheduled at no fault of USCIS. See 2 https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/affirmative-asylum-applicants- 3 must-provide-interpreters-starting-sept-13. 4 5. If needed, Plaintiffs agree to only make one (1) interview reschedule request 5 and to notify the Los Angeles Asylum Office of the reschedule request, in 6 writing, prior to the scheduled interview date. Plaintiff may email the 7 reschedule request to LosAngelesAsylum@uscis.dhs.gov; 8 6. If multiple reschedule requests are made by Plaintiffs, USCIS may place the asylum application back into the Los Angeles Asylum Office’s general 9 10 interview scheduling priorities. See 11 https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-and- 12 asylum/asylum/affirmative-asylum-interview-scheduling; 13 7. Plaintiffs understand that additional interview(s) may be required by USCIS 14 as part of the asylum interview process and the adjudication of the 15 application; 16 8. USCIS agrees to diligently work towards completing adjudication of the 17 asylum application within 120 days of completion of Plaintiff’s asylum 18 interview, absent unforeseen or exceptional circumstances that would 19 require additional time to complete adjudication; 20 9. In the event that USCIS does not complete adjudication of the asylum 21 application within 120 days of the completion of the asylum interview, 22 Plaintiffs may refile this action; 23 10. Plaintiffs agree to submit all supplemental documents and evidence, if any, 24 to USCIS prior to the agreed upon scheduled interview based on the 25 following timelines. Plaintiff may email any supplemental documents to 26 LosAngelesAsylum@uscis.dhs.gov at least seven (7) calendar days before 27 the interview. Alternatively, Plaintiff may mail the supplemental documents 28 to the Los Angeles Asylum Office, P.O. Box 2003, Tustin, CA 92781-2003, 2 1 postmarked no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the scheduled 2 asylum interview. Plaintiff recognizes that failure to submit these 3 documents in a timely manner may result in the interview being rescheduled 4 at no fault of USCIS; 5 6 11.
