18
On January 9, 2017, the Court directed petitioner’s counsel to submit a status
19
report to the Court regarding any resentencing proceedings, if any, in this case.
20
Petitioner’s counsel was also advised that his failure to timely file the status report
21
could result in a recommendation that the action be dismissed under Federal Rule of
22
Civil Procedure 41(b). Petitioner’s counsel did not timely file the required status
23
report.
24
Petitioner’s counsel is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE within fourteen (14)
25
days of the date of this Order why this action should not be dismissed for failure to
26
prosecute. Petitioner’s counsel may discharge this Order by filing the required
27
status report within 14 days of the date of this Order. The Court again admonishes
28
1
petitioner’s counsel that failure to timely comply with this Order will result in a
2
recommendation that this action be dismissed under Rule 41(b).
