Selna Plaintiffs, 21 22 23 24 25 Case No. 8:14-cv-01852-JVS-JDE FINAL JUDGMENT vs. CITY OF COSTA MESA, Trial Date: November 6, 2018 Defendant. 26 27 28 [PROPOSED] FINAL JUDGMENT This action was tried before a jury and the Court, the Honorable James V. 1 2 Selna presiding, between November 6, 2018 and December 7, 2018. 3 On December 7, 2018, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Defendant City 4 of Costa Mesa on Plaintiffs Yellowstone Women’s First Step House, Inc., California 5 Women’s Recovery, Inc., and Sober Living Network’s claims under the federal Fair 6 Housing Act, California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and Fourth 7 Amendment. (Dkt. No. 509.) The jury also returned an advisory verdict in the City’s 8 favor on Yellowstone’s claim under California Government Code § 65008. (Id. at 9 8.) 10 On July 16, 2019, the Court issued an order in the City’s favor on 11 Yellowstone’s claim under California Government Code § 65008, making findings 12 of fact and conclusions of law. (Dkt. No. 539.) 13 Accordingly, the Court ORDERS that judgment be entered in the City’s favor 14 on each and all of Plaintiffs’ claims, and that Plaintiffs take nothing on their 15 complaint.
