10 11 12 13 14 FRED BROWN, Warden, 15 Respondent. 16 17 Petitioner is a state prisoner proceeding with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 18 28 U.S.C. § 2254. 19 On November 28, 2007, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order reversing and 20 remanding this case to the district court for the purpose of further developing the record with respect 21 to Petitioner's ineffective assistance of counsel claims. At this time, the Court finds it necessary to 22 hold an evidentiary hearing. Pursuant to Rule 8(c) of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases, IT IS 23 HEREBY ORDERED that the Federal Defender is APPOINTED to represent Petitioner.
