Plaintiff George E. Jacobs IV (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma

14

pauperis in this civil rights action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This action now proceeds

15

on the Third Amended Complaint filed by Plaintiff on May 5, 2010, against defendants Crotty,

16

Nelson, Watson, Chan, McGregor, Alexander, Carrasco, Blankenship, Jobb, Granillo, Johnson, and

17

Salazar aka Adams, for violation of Plaintiff’s rights under the Eighth Amendment. (Doc. 29.)

On June 23, 2011, the Court stayed this action as to defendant Crotty pursuant to 11 U.S.C.

19

§ 362(a), pending resolution of defendant Crotty’s bankruptcy proceedings. (Doc. 58.) At this

20

juncture, defense counsel shall be required to file a status report informing the Court of the status

21

of defendant Crotty’s bankruptcy proceedings.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that within thirty days from the date of service

23

of this order, defense counsel shall file a status report informing the Court of the status of

24

Defendant Crotty’s bankruptcy proceedings.
