1 2 3 4 5 6 7 EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 8 9 10 11 12 13 Defendants. 14 15 Plaintiff John Robert Silvis ("Plaintiff") is a civil detainee proceeding pro se and in forma 16 pauperis in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On November 25, 2008, Plaintiff 17 filed a motion seeking the issuance of two summonses and two USM-285 forms for Defendants 18 Davis and Pappenfus based on Plaintiff's discovery of what he believes are Defendants' current 19 addresses. 20 In a separate order issued concurrently with this order, the Court directed the United States 21 Marshal to initiate service of process on Defendants Smith, Davis, and Pappenfus by contacting the 22 Legal Affairs Division of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. At this 23 juncture, there is no need for Plaintiff to submit any service documents and if it becomes necessary 24 for Plaintiff to submit further information, he will be notified via order. 25 Accordingly, Plaintiff's motion is HEREBY DENIED AS MOOT. 26 IT IS SO ORDERED. 27 28 Dated: i0d3h8 / v.
