Plaintiff Michael Gonzales, a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma
16
pauperis, originally filed this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 on September
17
21, 2007, and a scheduling order was issued January 7, 2011. (ECF Nos. 1 & 34.) This
18
action is currently in the discovery phase, and on July 22, 2011, Defendants filed a request
19
seeking permission to depose Plaintiff by video conference. Fed. R. Civ. P. 30(b)(4).

Good cause having been shown, Defendants’ motion is HEREBY GRANTED.
