1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Petitioner, 11 vs. 12 DEBRA DEXTER, et al., 13 Respondent. 14 ________________________________/ 15 Petitioner is a prisoner proceeding pro se with a petition for writ of habeas corpus 16 pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. 17 On March 13, 2009, judgment was entered dismissing the petition for writ of habeas 18 corpus. On June 12, 2009, petitioner filed a notice of appeal, a motion for certificate of 19 appealability and an application to proceed in forma pauperis. Examination of petitioner's 20 application to proceed in forma pauperis reveals that petitioner is unable to afford the costs of an 21 appeal. Accordingly, the application to proceed in forma pauperis on appeal is GRANTED. See 22 28 U.S.C. § 1915.
