Wanger. The scheduling conference order was modified pursuant to orders e n te re d herein on November 4, 2009, and on March 2, 2010. The parties have made substantial progress in settlement discussions, and wish to p la c e a hold on discovery pending a settlement conference with the Court. The dispute p rin c ip a lly involves the location of an easement, with a secondary issue of damages. The parties wish to avoid unnecessary expense in discovery and trial preparation as th e y have confidence that they can reach a global settlement with the assistance of a one o r two hour settlement conference with the Court. Mrs. Vane lives in Virginia and was in C a lif o rn ia this week to meet with the surveyor. Mrs. Vane will return to California d u rin g the week of June 21-25, 2010. Therefore, the parties request the following: 1. All discovery deadlines and disclosure requirements will be vacated, pending a s e ttle m e n t conference with the Court. 2 . The Court will set a settlement conference with Magistrate Judge Beck on one o f the following dates: June 23, 2010, June 24, 2010, or June 25, 2010. Dated: April 2, 1010.
