1 2 3 4 5 6 7 EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 Plaintiff Kareem Brown ("Plaintiff") is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma 16 pauperis in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff filed this action on 17 November 18, 2008, and on November 20, 2008, Plaintiff filed a motion seeking a temporary 18 restraining order. On December 22, 2008, Plaintiff filed a motion seeking a ruling on his motion for 19 a temporary restraining order and on the cognizability of the claims in his complaint. 20 In two separate recommendations issued concurrently with this order, the Court screened 21 Plaintiff's complaint and recommended denial of his motion for a temporary restraining order. 22 Accordingly, Plaintiff's motion for a ruling is moot and is DENIED on that ground. 23 24 IT IS SO ORDERED. 25 26 27 28 1 Dated: icido3 February 13, 2009 /s/ Sandra M.
