Plaintiff filed a Complaint in Stanislaus County Superior Court seeking, among other things, to foreclose the interest in certain real property held by the United States of America, Small Business Administration. Plaintiff caused the Complaint to be served upon the United States on June 15, 2010, and the United States removed the case to United States District Court on June 24, 2010. Under Rule 81(c)(2)(C) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the United States is required to file a response to the complaint within 7 days after the notice of removal is filed. A scheduling conference has been set for September 21, 2010. 3. response. Based upon the above, the parties stipulate that the United States' time to respond to the Complaint shall be extended up to and including August 16, 2010.
