RIOS, (Doc. 27) 14 Respondent. 15 ______________________________/ Petitioner is a prisoner proceeding pro se with a petition for writ of habeas corpus 16 17 pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. 18 On July 25, 2011, judgment was entered dismissing the petition for writ of habeas 19 corpus. On August 25, 2011, Petitioner filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis 20 on appeal. Examination of Petitioner’s application to proceed in forma pauperis reveals 21 that Petitioner is unable to afford the costs of an appeal. Accordingly, the application to 22 proceed in forma pauperis on appeal is GRANTED. See 28 U.S.C. § 1915.
