TILTON, Secretary of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, et al., Defendants. / 11 12 Plaintiff, a state prisoner incarcerated at Pelican Bay State 13 Prison (PBSP), has filed a pro se civil rights action pursuant to 14 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 15 Plaintiff has paid the filing fee. Although Plaintiff currently is incarcerated at PBSP, four of 16 the six named Defendants are employed at the California 17 Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, and the bulk of Plaintiff's 18 claims arise out of events occurring at that facility. 19 Additionally, another of the six named Defendants is the Secretary 20 of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in 21 Sacramento. 22 Sacramento, which is in Sacramento County, are located within the 23 venue of the United States District Court for the Eastern District 24 of California. 25 Defendants is the Warden at PBSP, which is in Del Norte County and 26 is located within the venue of the Northern District of California. 27 See 28 U.S.C. § 84(a). 28 Both Tehachapi, which is in Kern County, and See 28 U.S.C. § 84(b).
