Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, initiated the instant civil rights action

17

by filing exhibits of his medical records, though it was not clear the nature of his action or

18

whom were the appropriate Defendants. Plaintiff later filed a complaint against prison

19

medical personnel at Avenal State Prison alleging inadequate medical treatment. (Docket

20

No. 14.) Because the acts complained of occurred in Kings County, which lies within the

21

venue of the Eastern District of California, venue properly lies in that district and not in

22

this one. See 28 U.S.C. § 1391(b). Accordingly, this case is TRANSFERRED to the

23

United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. See 28 U.S. C. §

24

1406(a).

The Clerk shall terminate any pending motions and transfer the entire file to the

26

Eastern District of California.
