LONG, 18 19 20 21 ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS ON APPEAL AND DIRECTING CLERK TO SERVE THE COURT OF APPEALS (Document# 29) Respondent. 16 17 1:13-cv-01265 LJO-GSA (HC) Petitioner is a prisoner proceeding pro se with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. ' 2254. On May 2, 2014, judgment was entered denying the petition for writ of habeas corpus. On April 21, 2014, petitioner filed a notice of appeal. He filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis on May 2, 2014. Examination of petitioner=s application to proceed in forma pauperis 22 reveals that petitioner is unable to afford the costs of an appeal. Accordingly, the application to 23 proceed in forma pauperis on appeal is GRANTED. See 28 U.S.C. ' 1915.
