1 2 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 3 FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 4 5 EUGENE FORTE, 6 ORDER RE PLAINTIFF’S MOTION TO CORRECT PRIOR ORDER (Doc. 87) Plaintiff, 7 8 1:13-cv-1980-LJO-SMS v. TIMOTHY SCHWARTZ, 9 Defendant. 10 11 12 Plaintiff Eugene Forte moves to correct or strike the Court’s July 25, 2016 Order. Doc. 87. The 13 Court issued that Order in response to Plaintiff’s “Courtesy Notification” of a motion he filed in another 14 case pending in this Court before a different District Judge. It was not necessary for Plaintiff to file the 15 Courtesy Notice; however, the Clerk of Court docketed it as a motion, so the Court ruled on it as such. 16 Plaintiff’s motion to correct or strike the July 25, 2016 Order is therefore unnecessary as it has no 17 bearing on this or any of Plaintiff’s cases. Accordingly, the Court DENIES the motion (Doc. 87). 18 19 IT IS SO ORDERED. 20 Dated: /s/ Lawrence J. O’Neill _____ August 26, 2016 UNITED STATES CHIEF DISTRICT JUDGE 21 22 23 24 25 1
