He initiated this matter in the Central District of California by 19 filing his petition (Doc. 1 at 1-5), his motion to proceed in forma pauperis (Id. at 8-15) and paid a $5 20 filing fee. (Doc. 1) However, according to Petitioner, it does not appear that the motion to proceed in 21 forma pauperis was ever addressed by the Court. (Doc. 9) 22 In support of his motion to proceed in forma pauperis, Petitioner included a statement 23 regarding Petitioner’s lack of financial resources and submitted certifications related to his current 24 financial resources. (Doc. 1 at 8-16). Review of these documents demonstrates he is unable to pay the 25 court fees. Accordingly, Petitioner’s request to proceed in forma pauperis is GRANTED. 26 27 28 IT IS SO ORDERED.
