UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, et al, Defendants 17 Chief Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Klein has filed a recommendation that the District 18 Court withdraw reference of this adversary proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157(d). Doc. 1. 19 Chief District Court Judge Morrison England, Jr. has withdrawn the reference. Doc. 3. The 20 bankruptcy debtor is the plaintiff in this adversary proceeding. The substance of the complaint 21 concerns the reopening of plaintiff’s bankruptcy case; Bankruptcy Judge Frederick Clement and 22 Trustee Jeffrey Vetter are among the many defendants. The adversary proceeding was initiated on 23 December 31, 2014. The court notes that Plaintiff filed another lawsuit dealing with this exact 24 subject matter in the Superior Court, County of Los Angeles on February 11, 2014. That case was 25 removed to the Central District of California on May 6, 2014, Civil Case No. 14-3490. This court 26 issued an earlier order to show cause on January 13, 2015 (Doc. 2). To clarify any procedural 27 confusion, parties are now ordered to show cause in writing by February 20, 2015 why this 28 proceeding should not be transferred to the Central District of California pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1 1404 and 1412. 2 3 4 IT IS SO ORDERED.
