Petitioner is a state prisoner proceeding pro se in a habeas corpus action pursuant to 28

18 U.S.C. § 2254.

On October 21, 2016, Petitioner filed a motion to expedite proceedings in the instant
20 case. (ECF No. 17). However, the Court does not have an expedited calendar. Petitioner is
21 advised that the Court acts to resolve all pending cases in the most efficient manner possible. The
22 Court is aware of Petitioner’s pending petition. Nevertheless, the Court’s docket of pending
23 cases is substantial, and the Court must act first on those matters that have been pending the
24 longest.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Petitioner’s motion to expedite the

2 pending proceedings is DENIED.
