RESPOND TO COMPLAINT; ORDER

WHEREAS, Plaintiff Jose Escobedo (“Plaintiff”) and Defendant Clovis I, LLC

(“Clovis”) previously entered into a stipulation granting Clovis to and including October 17,
3
2016 to file a responsive pleading in this matter (Dkt. 7);
4
WHEREAS, Plaintiff, Clovis, and defendant Save Mart Supermarkets dba Food Maxx
5
#459 (“Save Mart,” and together with Clovis, “Defendants”) are engaged in settlement
6
negotiations and are hopeful that a settlement can be reached informally, and desire to conserve
7
attorney’s fees which would be incurred in filing the responsive pleading while they exhaust
8
settlement efforts;
9
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED by and between the Parties
10
that Defendants may have to and including November 18, 2016 to file responsive pleadings in
11
this matter. This extension of time does not alter the date of any event or any deadline already
12
fixed by Court order, including the Mandatory Scheduling Conference set for November 28,
13
2016 and the joint scheduling report that must be filed by November 21, 2016.
