Plaintiff Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (the “EEOC”) and Defendant

Dash Dream Plant, Inc. (“Defendant”) by and through their counsel of record, hereby submit a

Joint Status Report and Request for Extension of Time to the Court.

On April 27, 2017, the parties participated in a settlement conference before the

5

Honorable Stanley A. Boone. On April 28, 2017, the parties were served with an Order from

6

this Court ordering the filing of a consent decree within fourteen (14) days from the date of

7

service—to wit, by May 12, 2017.

The parties need a brief extension to finalize the consent decree and other settlement
documents for filing. Accordingly, the parties respectfully request that this Court grant a brief

10

extension until May 31, 2017, to allow the parties to finalize the settlement pursuant to the

11

proposed consent decree. The parties agree to submit another status report if the finalized

12

settlement documents are not filed with the Court by May 31, 2017.
