Pursuant to this Court’s May 12, 2017 Order (Dkt No. 23), Plaintiff Equal Employment

Opportunity Commission (the “EEOC”) and Defendant Dash Dream Plant, Inc. (“Defendant”)

3

by and through their counsel of record, hereby submit a Joint Status Report and Request for

4

Extension of Time to the Court.

Since the parties’ May 12, 2017 Status Update, a revised version of the consent decree

6

has been exchanged. The parties, however, need an extension to continue finalizing the consent

7

decree and other settlement documents for filing. Accordingly, the parties respectfully request

8

that this Court grant a brief extension until June 30, 2017, to allow the parties to finalize the

9

settlement pursuant to the proposed consent decree. The parties agree to submit another status

10

report if the finalized settlement documents are not filed with the Court by June 30, 2017.
