On July 6, 2017, the parties filed a stipulation for an extension of thirty-one days for Plaintiff to
18
file his opening brief. (Doc. 14) Notably, the Scheduling Order allows for a single extension of thirty
19
days by the stipulation (Doc. 5 at 4). Because the thirtieth day falls on a Sunday, the request to extend
20
the deadline to the following Monday is appropriate. Accordingly, the Court ORDERS:
21
1.
Plaintiff’s request for an extension of time is GRANTED; and
22
2.
Plaintiff SHALL file an opening brief on or before August 7, 2017.
