ORDER TO RELATE ACTIONS AND REASSIGN JUDGES K.M., a minor, et al., Defendants. 18 19 20 21 Review of the above-captioned action reveals that it is related under this Court’s Local 22 Rule 123 to the following actions entitled: (1) Brenda Markham v. Tehachapi Unified School 23 District, et al., Case No. 1:15-cv-01835-LJO-JLT; (2) K.M. v. Tehachapi Unified School 24 District, et al. Case No. 1:17-cv-01431-LJO-JLT; and (3) Brenda Markham v. Tehachapi 25 Unified School District, Case No. 1:18-cv-00303-LJO-JLT. The actions involve the same or 26 similar parties, properties, claims, events and/or questions of fact or law. 27 assignment of the actions to the same district judge and magistrate judge will promote 28 convenience, efficiency and economy for the Court and parties. An order relating cases under 1 Accordingly, 1 this Court’s Local Rule 123 merely assigns them to the same district judge and magistrate 2 judge, and no consolidation of cases is effected. 3 On the basis of good cause, this Court ORDERS that the above-captioned action is 4 reassigned to U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. O'Neill with new CASE NO. 1:16-cv-1942- 5 LJO-JLT. All documents shall bear the new CASE NO. 1:16-cv-1942-LJO-JLT and the 6 reassignment to U.S. District Judge O'Neill.
