M. DARST, et al., Defendants. 16 17 18 Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, has filed a civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 19 In his complaint, filed August 25, 2017, Plaintiff alleges violations of his civil rights 20 by multiple defendants. (ECF No. 1.) The alleged violations took place in Lassen County, 21 which is part of the Sacramento Division of the United States District Court for the 22 Eastern District of California. Therefore, the complaint should have been filed in the 23 Sacramento Division. 24 Pursuant to Local Rule 120(f), a civil action which has not been commenced in 25 the proper court may, on the court’s own motion, be transferred to the proper venue. 26 Accordingly, this action will be transferred to the Sacramento Division. 27 Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 28 1. This action is transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern 1 1 2 District of California sitting in Sacramento; and 2.
