Robinson (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with this civil 16 rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §1983. Plaintiff filed the Complaint commencing this 17 action on November 15, 2017. (ECF Nos. 1.) 18 On November 15, 2017, Plaintiff filed a motion for appointment of counsel. (ECF No. 19 3.) Plaintiff’s motion is unsigned. All filings submitted to the court must bear the signature of 20 the filing party. Local Rule 131; Fed. R. Civ. P. 11(a). Therefore, Plaintiff’s motion shall be 21 stricken from the record. 22 23 Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Plaintiff’s motion for appointment of counsel, filed on November 15, 2017, is STRICKEN from the record for lack of signature. 24 25 26 27 28 IT IS SO ORDERED.
