Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights

18

action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The Court held a pretrial conference on August 8,

19

2022 at which it set a trial date of March 21, 2023. (ECF No. 87.) The Court will hold a second

20

pretrial conference on January 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. The Court finds that appointment

21

of counsel to assist Plaintiff at trial is warranted. Justin A. Palmer and Paige S. Poupart have

22

been selected from the Court’s pro bono attorney panel to represent Plaintiff and have agreed to

23

be appointed.
