In this case, Plaintiff alleges that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) has unreasonably delayed adjudicating his pending asylum application, which he filed in October 2016. USCIS has scheduled Plaintiff’s asylum interview for March 25, 2025. The parties anticipate that this lawsuit will be rendered moot once USCIS completes its adjudication of Plaintiff’s application, and USCIS will endeavor to do so within 120 days. /// /// /// /// 1 The parties therefore stipulate that this matter be stayed through July 23, 2025. The parties 2 further request that all other filing and case management deadlines be similarly vacated. 3 4 Respectfully submitted, 5 6 Dated: March 27, 2024 PHILLIP A. The Court assumes that this was a typographical error as the 27 stipulation states that the adjudication of Plaintiff’s application will occur within 120 days, which will be around July 23, 2024. However, if the parties desire a stay until July 23, 2025, they may request an extension of the stay 28 in a filing explaining why such a lengthy extension is warranted. 30
