BROWN, JR., et al., 15 Defendants. 16 Defendants move for reconsideration of the court’s July 23, 17 18 2014 order, and have filed an ex parte application for an Order 19 Shortening Time so the motion may be heard on August 4, 2014. 20 Plaintiffs have filed a response. 21 vacated its earlier stay since no party had requested it, but 22 granted defendants the 21-day stay they requested so that they 23 could seek a broader stay from the Ninth Circuit. The court’s prior order ECF No. 555. 24 The court, having fully considered the matter, finding no 25 mistake, new evidence, clear error or other grounds warranting 26 reconsideration, and having determined that oral argument on the 27 matter is not necessary, orders as follows: 28 //// 1 1 2 3 4 1. The defendants’ application for an Order Shortening Time (ECF No. 557), is hereby DENIED; and 2.
