ORDER
/
14
On September 30, 2011, plaintiff filed a request for reconsideration of the
15
16
magistrate judge’s order filed September 1, 2011 denying plaintiff’s August 29, 2011 “motion
17
for extension of time to conduct discovery and order defendants to comply with motion to
18
compel discovery order or face sanctions.” Pursuant to E.D. Local Rule 303(f), a magistrate
19
judge’s orders shall be upheld unless “clearly erroneous or contrary to law.” The magistrate
20
judge noted in her Order that plaintiff failed to provide reasons why discovery should be
21
extended. In his motion for reconsideration, plaintiff now seeks to provide reasons, which this
22
court does not find to be compelling. Upon review of the entire file, the court finds that it does
23
not appear that the magistrate judge’s ruling was clearly erroneous or contrary to law.
