For the reasons set forth on the record at the hearing, defendant's motion to strike claimants' jury trial demand in this admiralty/maritime action for exoneration from or limitation of liability only was granted. The court declined to strike claimants' request for an advisory jury from their claims, while noting that claimants may elect to move for an advisory jury before the assigned district judge or request that the advisory jury issue be addressed at the Final Pretrial Conference.
