On April 9, 2012, plaintiff informed the court that he was having difficulty

17

gaining access to the law library at his prison, and obtaining copies, which hampered his efforts

18

to draft his opposition to defendants’ April 2, 2012 motion for summary judgment. The warden

19

at plaintiff’s prison has informed the court that plaintiff has access to the prison law library and

20

has the ability to make copies. In light of representations made by the warden and by plaintiff,

21

plaintiff will be granted 30 days within which to file his opposition to defendants’ pending

22

motion for summary judgment.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that plaintiff is granted 30 days within

2

which to file his opposition to defendants’ pending motion for summary judgment. Failure to file

3

an opposition within 30 days may result in a recommendation that this action be dismissed.
