Petitioner is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with an application for writ of

habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. This action is proceeding on the amended petition

filed on February 11, 2010. Pursuant to an order extending time, respondent filed an answer to

18

the petition on May 19, 2011. (Doc. No. 28.) Petitioner’s reply to the answer, if any, shall be

19

filed and served within twenty-eight days after service of this order.
