CROCETTE, et al., Defendants. / Plaintiff, a prisoner proceeding pro se, brings this civil rights action pursuant to 18 42 U.S.C. ยง 1983. On September 2, 2011, the court directed plaintiff to resolve the fee status 19 for this case within 30 days of the date of the order. Plaintiff was warned that failure to comply 20 may result in dismissal of this action for lack of prosecution and failure to comply with court 21 orders and rules. See Local Rule 110. To date, plaintiff has not complied by either paying the 22 full filing fee or filing a complete application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis. The court 23 provided plaintiff with an application for him to complete and return. Plaintiff failed to complete 24 the application, returning a blank application to the court instead. 25 26 Plaintiff shall show cause in writing, within 30 days of the date of this order, why this action should not be dismissed for failure to resolve fees. Plaintiff is again warned that 1 1 failure to respond to this order may result in dismissal of the action for the reasons outlined 2 above, as well as for failure to prosecute and comply with court rules and orders.
