On 19 October 31, 2014, the court issued an order for plaintiff to show cause why this action should not 20 be dismissed for failure to file a dispositive motion. Plaintiff has submitted a response, 21 indicating that counsel is having health problems and is currently attempting to help plaintiff 22 locate new counsel. He has requested a 30 day extension of time in which to file a motion for 23 summary judgment. Good cause appearing therefor, that request is granted. 24 Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 25 1. 26 The October 31, 2014 order to show cause is discharged; /// 1 1 2. 2 3 motion is granted; 3. 4 5 6 Plaintiff’s request for an additional 30 days in which to file a dispositive Plaintiff shall file a motion for summary judgment within 30 days of the date of this order; and 4.
