Plaintiff, who is proceeding with retained counsel, brings this action for judicial
18
review of a final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security under 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). On
19
October 31, 2014, the court issued an order for plaintiff to show cause why this action should not
20
be dismissed for failure to file a dispositive motion. Plaintiff has submitted a response,
21
indicating that counsel is having health problems and is currently attempting to help plaintiff
22
locate new counsel. He has requested a 30 day extension of time in which to file a motion for
23
summary judgment. Good cause appearing therefor, that request is granted.
24
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

The October 31, 2014 order to show cause is discharged;

motion is granted;

Plaintiff’s request for an additional 30 days in which to file a dispositive
Plaintiff shall file a motion for summary judgment within 30 days of the
date of this order; and

The remaining dates set forth in the scheduling order are adjusted
