Plaintiff, a prisoner without counsel, has filed a complaint alleging civil rights violations
16
17
pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On April 17, 2012, the court dismissed plaintiff’s complaint for
18
failure to state a cognizable claim and for failure to comply with Rule 8 of the Federal Rules of
19
Civil Procedure. Dckt. No. 8. After plaintiff failed to respond to that order, the undersigned
20
recommended that this action be dismissed for failure to prosecute and failure to state a claim.
21
Dckt. No. 11. On June 14, 2012, plaintiff objected to the findings and recommendations and
22
stated that he had never received the court’s April 17, 2012 order. Dckt. No. 13. The Clerk of
23
the Court has re-served the April 17, 2012 order on plaintiff. The court will hold the findings
24
and recommendations in abeyance for a period of thirty days.
