Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, filed the instant civil rights action

17

pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, challenging the conditions of his confinement while he was

18

at the California Medical Facility (“CMF”) in Vacaville, California, which lies within

19

Solano County. Because the acts complained of occurred in Solano County, which lies

20

within the venue of the Eastern District of California, venue properly lies in that district

21

and not in this one. See 28 U.S.C. § 1391(b). Accordingly, this case is TRANSFERRED

22

to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. See 28 U.S. C. §

23

1406(a).
