This is an immigration case in which plaintiffs challenge the delay in the adjudication of their

16

applications for adjustment of status to that of lawful permanent resident by United States

17

Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). As of the time of this filing, the parties are

18

working toward an administrative resolution to the matter. Accordingly, the parties stipulate to

19

an extension of time, until July 16, 2012, for the government to file its answer to the complaint.

20

As well the parties request that the status conference, currently set for June 25, 2012, be reset

21

until sometime after the new answer date.
