The May 23rd 19 Order further required that a status report be filed regardless of 20 whether a joint report could be procured. No status report was filed as 21 ordered. 22 Therefore, Plaintiff and Defendants are Ordered to Show Cause 23 (“OSC”) in a writing to be filed no later than September 21, 2012, why 24 sanctions should not be imposed against them and/or their counsel under 25 Rule 16(f) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for failure to file 26 a timely status report. The written response shall also state whether 27 the parties or their counsel are at fault, and whether a hearing is 28 1 1 requested on the OSC.1 If a hearing is requested, it will be held on 2 October 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., just prior to the status conference, 3 which is rescheduled to that date and time.
