JOKSCH, et al., 16 Defendants. 17 On January 28, 2014, defendants moved to take plaintiff’s deposition by remote means. 18 19 Defendants seek authorization to take plaintiff’s deposition by video conference or, if counsel is 20 unavailable, to take his deposition by phone. Defendants’ request is partially granted. 21 Defendants are permitted to take plaintiff’s deposition by video conference. If counsel is unable 22 to take the deposition by video conference, defendants shall seek further leave of court to take the 23 deposition by telephone explaining why counsel is unable to take the deposition by video 24 conference. The court reporter shall be located at the prison with plaintiff during the deposition. 25 Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 26 1.
